Source methodology

How sources and planning assumptions are selected

Nordic Life Guide uses source-backed editorial structure so readers can understand where planning guidance ends and primary-source verification begins.

Preferred source order

Primary public sources are prioritised for immigration, tax, labour market, study and statistics topics. Primary travel organisations are used for travel planning context.

Where a topic depends on current market prices, such as rent or travel costs, tools are labelled as estimates and users are advised to check live listings or booking prices.

How tools are treated

Calculators and checklist generators are planning tools. They are designed to compare scenarios and surface next steps, not produce final decisions.

Every tool should show assumptions and point users toward related guides or primary sources when rules, taxes or permits matter.

How claims are kept cautious

We avoid claiming guaranteed visas, guaranteed jobs, exact costs or fixed eligibility when a result depends on personal circumstances or changing rules.

If a page discusses immigration, tax, salary or affordability, it should include a visible disclaimer and source box.
